Meet the Team
Every team member is committed to helping you make vital, positive lifestyle changes to ensure your mind and body are the best they can be
Liam McLaughlin DC
Liam graduated with BSc (Hons) and Master’s degrees from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth in 1998.
Since then he has developed his skills at a number of chiropractic clinics and undergone extensive further studies in functional neurology. In 2006, Liam became one of only a handful of European Chiropractors to qualify as a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Neurology board.
Liam’s primary focus is on education and addressing the underlying causes of poor health. Liam and the rest of the team believe in providing a step-by-step approach to help you achieve your goals in health and life.
I believe regaining and retaining your health should be fun and enjoyable and I aim to ensure each of your visits to the practice is the same
Kelly-Jane McLaughlin DC
Kelly graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth in 2002 and in 2013 received the prestigious UCA Chiropractor of the Year Award. Kelly has worked in several UK practices, travelled the world as rugby team Chiropractor and mentors other Chiropractors, and health professionals.
Kelly’s area of special interest is caring for mums-to-be, helping them have wonderful pregnancies and labours. As a proud mum to three little McLaughlins, who were all home water births, Kelly is passionate about empowering women to have their choice of labour.
Liam and Kelly are both members of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and are certified in the Webster Technique.
Over the past decade, my main focus has been to attend professional development courses on pregnancy, birth and paediatrics. I feel this has helped me gather a huge bank of information and knowledge that I am excited to be able to share with you
Libby is a former national trampolinist (and has coached children of all ages in this wonderful sport) so she understands just how important it is to take care of your body for optimum performance. In her spare time Libby enjoys working with her boyfriend on restoring their classic VW Beetle. She also loves to travel and she has spent time volunteering and trekking in Vietnam and Cambodia.
I love being a part of the DFC team and helping care for all our wonderful clients. I am passionate about health and wellbeing, and Chiropractic has opened my eyes to how well my body can work if it’s at its best.
Lauren is an amateur football player, having previously played for Bristol City and Gloucestershire County. She was also the President of Women’s football at Nottingham Trent University and a volunteer for a sports initiative in Bristol. Lauren moved to Reading a year ago and in her spare time enjoys exploring the area and surrounding country side with her husband, Aaron and their Springer Spaniel. Lauren also has a love of baking– so watch out for our monthly recipes made by Lauren. When Lauren is not being a superstar behind the front desk she is studying a Soft Tissue therapy course at the London School of Sports Massage.
I am really enjoying being part of the DFC team and seeing the benefits of chiropractic care not only in myself but also all the fabulous clients who visit here. Since joining DFC I have learnt a lot about my health and wellbeing and can already feel the benefits of Chiropractic care.
Jo is originally from sunny South Africa, but moved to England with her husband in 2016. She has always had a keen interest in the working of the human body and mind, which lead her to complete a degree in human life science. When the weather allows it, Jo enjoys spending her free time in nature, taking photos and travelling…but she is also more than happy to stay inside and paint.
Jo has had chiropractic care since her teenage years, and is now really looking forward to helping all our clients have a fantastic experience.
Antea was born in Sicily, Italy, and moved to London in 2017 to experience life as an Au pair and improve her english. She moved to Reading in 2018 and has been enjoying getting to know the area. Although she misses her family a lot – especially her beagle Artù (King Arthur) – as well as the good Italian weather and food, she is always excited to explore cities and little towns of a new country!! In her free time, she loves listening to music, mostly enjoying 60s – 80s sounds. She also loves cooking different pasta recipes. One of her biggest dreams is going back to South Korea and do more visiting around Asia. She also passionately wants to help animal rescue organisations.
I am definitely enjoying working at DFC! Everyone has always been supportive and kind to me, which is why I am happy behind the front desk. I am learning everyday from the team and clients themselves. I love seeing people smiling while being in our practice. Please feel free to have a chat with me whenever you want to! I would love to listen to your own stories and anecdotes.
